BuildingsIf you don't need the building anymore (or want to replace it with stronger variant), you can sell it - but you will receive only 25% of the resources you needed to build them. Here is a complete list of buildings. Names of special buildings, unique to certain race, are shown in green letters. What to build first? Most important building is Granary, which costs 1000 gold and increases population growth. More people means more money and more soldiers, so don't hesitate to build it. You should have a Granary in all your lands as soon as possible (although sometimes it is better to invest your gold into recruiting and conquering and leave one or two lands without Granary until next day). With other, more expensive buildings (like mines), you have to consider what is better - to buy houses and increase population (each inhabitant pays you 5 gold per turn), or to buy a mine? Generally said, if price of one house is below 200 gold, it is more effective to buy houses instead of mines. Another thing to consider is, whether to buy defensive building (like Corral), or recruit soldiers. Soldiers can be used for attacking as well, but you pay upkeep for them. Basic economy buildingsThese buildings should be in all of your lands that are not immediately threatened by enemies (if you can allow to buy them, of course). They increase your income of gold and mana.
Basic military buildingsThese buildings will help you when attacking or defending. There are many more of them, but those other are expensive and are used later in the game.
