Dark Elf Leagues

Why are there so many leagues?

Although the map of the world is pretty large (has 431 lands), the number of players is much larger. Therefore several leagues were created, each of them is a separate, isolated world. Leagues range from easy training leagues for beginners (with no objective) to the hardest of all, League 1. All leagues use the same map with the same lands and bonuses - just the difficulty, game objective and number of players is changing.

How long does a league last?

That depends on type of the league. In standard leagues, one age has mostly 12-25 days, action leagues are finished in 2 to 5 days.
When a league is finished, its name in the pyramid turns red. Next day it will be restarted (all lands return to original state with no owner) and its name turns green. That means player can register again and start a new age.

Basic parameteres of leagues

  • League name - if number goes first, it shows difficulty (from 1 to 5, difficulty decreases; e.g. 2B is second league and "B" has no meaning, it is just name); if letters go first, it is a league of special type (T=training, A=Arena, AL=Alliance battle; e.g. A3 is Arena number 3)
  • League status - following statuses are possible: registration / played / ended
  • Time elapsed - number of days from start of the league. In action leagues it is number of recalculations (there are many during one day)
  • Number of players - number of players registered into the league
  • Weather - is changing every day. Gives a twist to the game, it is never the same.
  • League type - standard leagues process attacks and spells once a day, action leagues every 15 minutes
  • Objective - most often it is Capture the land of Dark Elf, but it can also be a deathmach of individual players or alliances. Objective defines when the league will end. Training leagues have no objective and end after 7 days.
  • Played daily - most are, but some leagues are not played during the weekend to give better chance to those that only play from school or work
  • Description - short description, if necessary
  • free / for key - if there is a key displayed with the league, players have to buy this key before they can register into such league
