Rules of conduct on forums and in mail

You can delete any message you posted on a forum or sent by in-game mail. It is not possible to edit posted messages. Old messages will be deleted automatically, so you don't have to delete them manually. Forum moderators and game administrators (further - "admins") check forum regularly and they have right to delete messages and punish those that don't follow rules mentioned below.

If you don't follow the rules

For repeated or severe violation of below mentioned rules of communication, player can be banned from forums (= player can't post messages).
For advertising of another online game, the player can be DELETED immediately, losing without refund any heroes, artifacts and DE-credits that player may have at the moment of deletion.

General rules - valid on all forums and in mail

1. Forum languages are Czech, Slovak and English. Admins have the right to allow or ban certain dialects.
2. Write your messages to be clear, decent and to the point, without flaming and insults. Any racistic remarks will be considered a severe violation!
3. Repeated abusing of the forum (spam) also constitutes violation of rules.
4. Private matters and long discussions between two players are meant to be done using mail, not public forums.
5. Excessive advertising of internet pages about Dark Elf (like clan or alliance pages) and ANY advertising of other pages is prohibited.
6. Public discussion with admin will not be accepted; if you want to voice your opinion about admin's decision, or want to explain something to admin, use mail and be decent.
7. Admin decides whether rules were violated or not, and has the right to punish violations.
8. Not adhering to these rules may result in forum ban for the player (can't post messages in public forums, only in mail) or IP-ban.

Rules for Mail

Private mail is not checked by admins, unless a complaint about conduct has been sent by the recipient.
Both author and recipient can delete the message. The message is stored only once, so deleting a message will delete it for the other side as well!
If you want to be sure that a message (either sent or received) will not be deleted, mark it as undeletable (little "N" icon to the right of message).

If you have a question to the admins, choose the best recipient from a drop-down list based on what it is about.

Rules for Questions forum

This forum is meant specifically and exclusively for short questions and answers about the game.
Especially new players can find some advice here - some of the experienced players will post a reply to their question soon.
Formulate the questions precisely and without undue emotions. To make reading the forum easier, please refrain from posting "thank you" answers - if you feel it helped you a lot, send your thanks by mail directly to the person who replied. If the answer didn't apply to your situation, try to formulate your question better. If you want to start a discussion, visit Interleague forum - don't start it on Questions.
If you are replying to a question, do it concisely, and don't joke. If you are not sure, don't reply at all - some other player will know better. If the question was already answered, do not answer again and don't comment the answer. Go to Interleague forum if you want to start discussion.
No jokes, spam, discussions, ideas for enhancement etc. Such messages will be deleted by admins.

Rules for Interleague forum

Interleague forum is accessible to all players and is a place for discussions, various contests and communication between players, mostly about the game and related events. If you want to discuss something, have some idea of your own for enhancement of the game or just want to talk about the game, this is the place to visit.
If you are decent, admins will not delete your messages - but please refrain from spamming, bad words and long private conversations not interesting for other people. If you chat with one person, use mail instead! Violation of general rules will be punished severely at Interleague forum!

Rules for League forums

League forums are meant for discussion of a smaller group of players, mainly those that play the respective league. Their rules are the same as on Interleague forum, although they may be applied a little bit more benevolently and admins don't check these forums as often as Interleague.
As long as other players don't start to complain, minor violations will pass without punishment. Some of the league forums house the best and most lively discussions, e.g. Hell forum, and forum of 1st league.

Rules for Alliance forum

This is a private and temporary forum (opens when alliance is founded, and disappears when it is disbanded or the age ends). Only members of that alliance can enter the forum. No checks are performed here by admins, players can write how they want and what their colleagues allow.
Alliance leader can set rules for alliance forum, delete any message on the forum and kick player from alliance for misconduct on the forum. Alliance leader can submit message from another alliance to admins, if it constitutes severe violation of forum rules or proves their misconduct in game.

Rules for Clan forum

Rules are the same as for Alliance forum.

Rules for Advertising forum

Only advertising of things connected with the game belong here (you may want to buy or sell a hero, or you are looking for new members of your clan etc.). It is strictly prohibited to advertise things that does not relate to the game at all. This forum is regularly checked by admins.

Rules for Ideas forum

This forum serves for expert discussions about the game, various rules and possible changes in Dark Elf. Any other communication (questions, chat) does not belong here and will be deleted. Please wrte your ideas only if you really have something to say, and are experienced enough to understand how the game works. Only veteran players - those that have more than 200 game days - may post in this forum.
