Everyday activities
Here is the list of activities a good player should do every day.
- read the news at Dark Elf homepage
- click Enter and check what leagues have "Registration" status - maybe there is one that you'd like to play
- type login name and password to log into the game
- enter the game screen
- click Reports icon in menu bar and read what happened - result of your attacks and spells, current weather and weather forecast etc.
- check new mail (if there is new mail, envelope in menu bar is flashing)
- read new entries on alliance forum, leader may have some orders that will affect the way you play your turns
- read Statistics to check how you are faring in comparison to other players
- click your map segment and check the situation on map carefully - are there some new dangers?
- check whether someone has declared war on some of my lands (crossed swords icon)
- check treaties with neighbouring lands, accept, decline or offer new treaties
- declare war on those lands that you want to attack today (if there is no treaty) or the next day - to avoid 30% penalty for attack without declaration
- if there is at least 1000 gold in treasury, build Granary before playing turns - it will increase population growth
- if there is enough money, you may decide to buy houses in lands that have no free houses, or Sacred well to increase mana production
- plan the attacks before playing turns, so that you know where to build most houses and how much money you will need for military buildings and to recruit army
- play turns and buy houses or other economical buildings depending on your needs and assets
- remember to save enough money for military buildings and army !
- when you have played all turns you will play that day, recruit soldiers
- send the army to attack as planned
- cast some supportive spells if you can - like Content to double population growth
- chat on the alliance, league or interleague forum
- when finished, click the door icon to log off correctly
- wait for the results of your actions (until midnight in standard leagues)
