Errors: what to do?

Dark Elf is optimized for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, but will run on all frequently used browsers. Cookies must be allowed to play the game! Make sure you have allowed cookies in your Internet settings, and also in your firewall (if you don't want to allow cookies generally, most firewalls give you the possibility to set exception for selected sites). If you encounter an error, first check the game forums, whether the same error appears to other players as well. If not, then most probably the problem is on your side.

Steps to take:

  1. Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + R (refresh the page).
  2. Didn't help? Close all windows of the browser, then start it again.
  3. Didn't help? Check the date and time on your computer; if it isn't correct, set it.
  4. Didn't help? Delete all Internet temporary files and cookies (this option is somewhere in your browser menu).
  5. Didn't help? Restart your computer.
  6. Still problems? Firefox and IE are most reliable browsers for DE. If you are using some other, try one of these.
